EXTREMELY HELPFUL GUIDANCE AND TOOLS FOR THERAPEUTIC DOCUMENTATION
If I could give this book 10 stars, I would. This is perhaps one of the most valuable tools I use daily as a therapist. I am so thankful for this tool. It has been invaluable in helping me zero in on the various topics, interventions and strategies for daily notes after sessions. It also has been super helpful in developing treatment plans. I think of how helpful this resource is and how grateful I am for it daily. BUY THE BOOK. YOU WON’T REGRET IT!!!

    Comprehensive Resource
This book is a well organized comprehensive resource. The author has truly thought of everything needed for documentation that supports good treatment and requirements from 3rd party billers. She is generous with her time and provides helpful information for free online. Even if you follow her online you will still benefit from all that is provided in this book. This area is not well taught in graduate school but so necessary in professional life. I think this resource is applicable to everyone from new graduates to well seasoned professionals.

Such a helpful book and a great resource!
(I was not compensated in any way for this review) This book breaks everything down into easily digestible and understandable basics, which, ultimately is great for someone like me who always worried and stressed over the “paperwork” being lacking in one way or another. I also had a tendency to overthink and write more than was needed or necessary. I didn’t think that I could break that habit and fear of “not having enough” in my notes. Then along came this book! I had purchased the program prior to the book, but the book puts everything in one place, which I find so much more convenient. Yes, it is possible to use bullet points and one or two sentences to meet required documentation. No, notes don’t have to take 10+ minutes, or even 5+ once you get yourself set up. I recommend the book, it’s definitely worth the price for the sense of peace it can provide as well as all the resources.

must have book for every clinician
This book is a must have for every clinician and was exactly what I was looking for. The most helpful part of this book besides all the useful tips was the templates and examples. I highly recommend this book to make documentation less stressful for you.

    Most helpful book!!
I was given a promotional copy of this book, yet I also pre-ordered a copy as well to keep on my Kindle. This book is awesome!! These are my own personal thoughts without input from anyone else.I love this book for several reasons. I like how each chapter flows into the next so naturally and how there is no doubt about the point being made in each chapter. As someone recovering from difficult hand surgery and grafting, the templates in the book are such a gift as I don’t have to type as much. As I also struggle with ADHD, this simplifies my work!!I find the book full of encouragement and warmth and anyone challenged with documentation needs this positive regard.I think this book would be so useful in the hands of grad school professors, supervisors, practice managers in group practices and individuals in private practice. This work is a game-changer for me. This book is something we all need to have on our shelves!!

  8. BFlingers
