If you need to take a calcium supplement like I do, this is top of the line. It is a good brand with just the right amounts of calcium and vitamin D.Tempted by cheaper knock-offs? Buy them at your own risk, as some of them are bulky and hard to swallow. These are about as easy to swallow as any mid-size pill. The main trick is to not stop and think about it! If you wait too long to finish your swallowing, they can start to dissolve and this is quite unpleasant.Put one in your mouth with a bit of water, swallow immediately, and you’ve got your calcium painlessly.

Again my fault for not reading complete description details. Petite is dosage size not pill size. Still large pill but coated makes it easier to swallow and digest.

I gave these a four star because I specifically ordered the Caltrate and the petite size sizes These are not petite sizes. They are large. I can’t return this unless I drive 100 miles round-trip to bring it back to Amazon drop off for UPS.. they changed it now and I can’t drop any of my purchases that I wanna take back to Amazon in the town I live in and it makes it for a really bad situation if I buy it I generally have to keep it because I’m not going to drive 100 miles to take something back

Calcium test prove it works
All I can really say about it is that doctors recommended it you don’t need to eat with this calcium for it to be absorbed and used.I’ve had my blood test tested for calcium levels overtime and they are always right on so it can only be this because I don’t drink milk and I rarely use milk products that are not fat free.
