    One Gorgeous Cookbook Filled with Great and Healthy Recipes
    Giada’s cookbooks have long been a favorite of mine. I don’t use cookbooks all that often. I am a trained chef and my approach is to buy ingredients that look good when at the store and figure out what to make later–using my own background of knowledge and creativity. But, when I do use a cookbook, it is often one of Giada’s. They are all beautifully made and feature dishes of my favorite cuisine. The recipes are usually neither overly complex or obscure. But, I don’t consider a lot of the recipes in those cookbooks because many of the recipes include and often feature meat. I don’t eat beef or pork. So, this new cookbook is just perfect for me. We are now of like minds when it comes to preparing healthy food. She begins by telling the story of how she arrived at this new healthy food philosophy. In doing so, she shows a very human side of herself. She has developed a diet that is stricter and healthier than what I have been doing. I am not at this time about to adopt her suggestions entirely, but, the beauty of the cookbook is that one can go whole hog (a pun), try out a more moderate path, or just pick and choose recipes that catch the eye. One can ignore the healthy philosophy behind all of this, skip the first chapters, and go straight to trying out recipes. I have never been disappointed in any dish I have made using one of her cookbooks. Great that she has added a lot of healthy alternatives and meat-free dishes to her vast collection of recipes.

    Really good advice and good for you food. Easy to make and with easy to find ingredients. See her other good for you food cookbook too. Like them both. Trying to do !ow fat, salt and sugar so these will be a big help.

    My Favorite Giada Cookbook!
    I love this Giada cookbook, this is my second copy as I lost another one to water damage. Wonderful recipes that even my husband loves. Quick, healthy ideas and some longer recipes too. The baked chicken is in our permanent rotation of recipes along with the Beyond Meat pasta recipe. Thanks Giada 🙂

    Be careful if you want to purchase the book with the spiral binding to click on the right option. I obviously missed that button but love the book.

    Lots of good information and healthy recipes
    First I want to mention that first 1/4 of this book is about Giada’s health issues from her eating habits and the 10 year journey she took to feeling better from the food she ate. Then it goes into starting out on your own journey of eating better with sample menus and a 3 day reboot cleanse. Another reviewer incorrectly said that only 1/3 of the book was recipes-this is not true! 3/4 the book is recipes. If you are looking to improve your life by eating better, this is the book for you! A lot of great recipes from sheet pan Parmesan shrimp with vegetables, Beyond Plant based Bolognese and stuffed peppers to a steak salad and a lean and clean” chapter with lots of Vegan, gluten free and dairy free options. I am honestly surprised by the bad reviews! This is a wonderful book and I highly recommend it if you want to improve your eating habits.

    Recipies or food information book?
    Recipes didn’t start until page 83. Before that was meal planning and lots of other information. I just wanted a cookbook. To be fair, I haven’t yet tried the recipes.

    Know what you’re buying!
    I’m loving this book so far, but it’s definitely a wellness/lifestyle book versus a cookbook. You won’t get a lot of inspired culinary creations, but you will get a wonderful collection of recipes geared at making you feel really good. Intuitive eating has taught me that filling up on nutrient dense foods really does impact how you feel, and it doesn’t mean you can’t still eat everything else you love. I have every single one of Giada’s cookbooks and I still plan to try and cook my way through all of them!! But this new book offers some great ideas for nutrient packed meals and recipes. Although the recipes are simple, I appreciate having someone else put meal ideas together for me. Even simple recipes feel inspiring since I don’t always have a creative mind when it comes to cooking tasty food. I’ve enjoyed what I’ve made so far and definitely recommend this book for easy and healthful recipes. If you know what you’re buying, you won’t be disappointed!

    I’ve always loved Giada’s recipes and her cooking style, but this book is next level. I love the personal information she shared about her journey to eat better & feel better – it really made me feel like I could take control of my gut health too. The recipes are amazing and truly delicious, despite being “healthified” – you’d never know the dairy & gluten is missing! I enjoy the opportunity to try some new ingredients and cooking methods also. Enjoying this book so much I ordered my mom a copy for her birthday! 10/10!
