Testimonials”Little did I know that when I was a young, fledgling personal trainer, I had been absolutely brainwashed by much of my university education in health, fitness and nutrition. Sure, I knew all about the “leg extension machine” and how to “eat healthy whole grains” and “lean protein”, but it wasn’t until I read Paul Chek’s book How to Eat, Move and Be Healthy! that I suddenly entered a brand, new world of primal, ancestral living; functional movement; food that is actually appropriate for the human physiology and much more! This book was formative in my education and career, and I owe a lifetime of gratitude to Paul for it.”
– Ben Greenfield, BenGreenfieldLife.com

“We first met Paul before “How to Eat, Move and Be Healthy!” was published and realized that he has forgotten more about health and fitness than most experts have learned. His philosophy of blending body, mind and soul is as cutting edge now as it was 20 or more years ago and deeply resonated with our own approach to fitness and health. His book is a high-level but still accessible resource for anyone seeking guidance or tactics on healthy eating, functional exercise and a holistic approach to overall well-being.
– Gabby Reece and Laird Hamilton

“How To Eat, Move and Be Healthy! is the best book that I have ever read! I am convinced that there is no other place but the BIBLE to find the kind of wonderful life-changing information found in How To Eat, Move and Be Healthy!.” – Matt Banks, Personal Trainer, USA

    Great information
I have taken health related courses in person with Paul Chek. He is gifted in helping others understand ways to achieve holistic health. This book outlines his basic simple concepts. Highly recommend.

  2. Izzy

    Excellent information
Paul Chek’s book came highly recommended and I have to agree. His online videos are the best as well. Just look at this solid rock of an older man and you know he’s on the right track.

  3. Ali Garcia

Paul Chek knows what is up
Recommended book for anyone. Paul Chek is knowledgeable and breaks stuff down

    THE Health manual, without question
I have been researching and reading on health, medicine, fitness, physical therapy, kinesiology, pharmacology, allopathic and holistic medicine, sports nutrition, the list goes on my entire life. There is not a single book out there better than this one. It doesn’t go excessively into nuances to the point of pigeonholing you into one mode of thinking, a program, or a product. It keeps everything relevant and does not deviate from proper base principles. If you read this you will understand why everything else is not even close in comparison. You will not waste your money on prescriptions or similar interventions which patch AFTER you are ill. You will spend your efforts on maintaining and improving health before getting to that point. There are MANY examples of this I could list which would occur by following this book. For example the rotation diet can help you avoid allergies, which would become costly with side effects from taking the allopathic route via medications and allergy injections. Following the movement plan will prevent you from becoming injured and also will maintain spinal health from a properly recruiting core (open chain vs closed chain, diskinesia, primal pattern exercises, see Paul Chek’s movement that matters book). It also acknowledges diet differences between individuals with the primal pattern diet groups (ex. purine requirement differences). There is so much more, and again, I’ve never come across anything comparable.

    Kindle Version Riddled with Errors
I didn’t want to give the book a bad review because I’m sure it is great, but the Kindle version is poor quality. Turning a page early on in chapter one let me know that it was formatted wrong because the previous page ended with a complete sentence and the next page was mid-sentence in a completely different paragraph. Not sure what happened, but there were several examples where there were obvious omissions or formatting problems, or something. I gave up and returned it right away. I will order the paperback which is highly rated.

The book that keeps on giving
This is the kind of book where the more you learn in your own health journey, the deeper this book becomes. I keep going back and find myself in awe that I didn’t notice something the last time I read it or the time before. It’s like a work of art. So grateful for this information being out in the world empowering all of us to be in charge of our own health.

    NOT AN AUTHORIZED KINDLE VERSION
PLEASE DO NOT BUY this Kindle version of Paul Chek’s book, “How to Eat, Move and Be Healthy!”.It is not authorized by the author nor the publisher and neither receive any of the proceeds from the sale. Someone has made a bad Kindle conversion and it is full of formatting errors (as it was not produced from the official layout of the book). This Kindle book is infringing the copyright of the author and should not be for sale on Amazon.

  8. Jenavieve

With the book heavily being about exercises, stretches, programs, etc., there are a lot of important visuals that Chek includes. However, this Kindle version has all of the visuals, as well as some sentences all mixed up in order, which is hard to follow and also frustrating when theres key information about programming. I am looking to now buy a hard copy, making this purchase a waste of money

A great book really interesting. I found it really informative and great to reference back too. Would definitely recommend.

  10. CB

This ebook is messed up, missing sentences and quizzes in disordered numbering and links not working. Buy the paperback and get it from the Chek Institute.

  11. Bobster

The subject matter is really interesting, but unfortunately the terrible formatting makes it unreadable. The first time I found part of a paragraph transposed to another page I carried on reading in the hope it was a one-off error. Sadly the same issue occurs so regularly that it becomes impossible to make sense of the text. Not sure who can rectify this, but until it’s fixed I certainly wouldn’t recommend spending money on it.

The book itself is great, HOWEVER, looks like the Kindle version of the book is NOT the 2nd edition (missing the 4 Dr’s). I’ve also noticed a lot of incomplete sentences or words are missing making it really hard to read. Really disappointed since the book is out of print right now.
