    Great book
This has to be one of the most valuable books I’ve bought so far. I love how it not only talks about how to handle downs but also explains the reasons behind them.

  2. Jules

So Much More Than a Self Help Book
I can’t even begin to explain how amazing this book is, but I will try my best. This is definitely a book that I will keep on hand from this day forward. The chapters are not long and drawn out so they are easy to absorb. The issues that are discussed are very relatable! It would be impossible to find a person that doesn’t identify with at least one subject brought up. The authors writing style is easy to understand so it keeps you on track and focused. The exercises explained in the book are extremely doable. If you’re searching for a self help book for any reason, definitely give this one a shot. If you like it just half as much as I do then you’ll be glad you read it.

  3. Dmitriy Dokshin

A reliable collection of psychological recipes
Not a revelation, but a decent pack of basic techniques and knowledge about mental health. Simple and effective, works and helps.

  4. Emma

    Super Helpful
Originally started reading as a book of choice for class, ended up fully enjoying the read. I found a lot of helpful things I can use in my life in the book.

  5. Felipe Leiva

    Great Book
Really informative and helps a lot for our self-understanding. A lot of interesting topics that makes you know better about our own feelings and emotions.

for those in their self-development journey.
*Why Has Nobody Told Me This Before?* is undoubtedly a well-written book tailored for its intended audience. It offers accessible and practical advice on navigating life’s emotional ups and downs, and for readers who are new to self-help literature, this book provides a solid foundation. However, for someone like me, who has read extensively in this genre, the content didn’t quite resonate as deeply as I hoped it would. Perhaps it’s because I’ve come across many of the concepts and suggestions in similar books, making this one feel less groundbreaking. While the advice is valid and well-articulated, I found myself wishing for fresh insights or novel approaches that could truly set it apart from others in the field.I’m always seeking opportunities to grow, learn, and evolve, which is why I picked up this book in the first place. The promise of practical tips and guidance was appealing, but unfortunately, I didn’t come away with much that felt new or transformative. That said, I believe this book would be a valuable resource for those at an earlier stage in their self-development journey.

  7. Brianna Kudro

    Read it.
If you are VERY self aware as I am, this book is for you. It confirms everything we already know about ourselves, but also dives a little deeper, making you question things and also helps with anxiety, etc.

    Great
    Great read!

  9. Inspector

    Excellent book. Highly recommend it

  10. Jaime Eduardo Sauret Fagre

Of all the self-help books I’ve read, this is the one that felt it will actually help.I love the way the author puts it like ‘my goal with this book is to share therapy techniques for those who do not have access to therapy’. She explains different challenges we all have to face and then offers different tips and techniques on how to navigate them. Are there new never-heard-off techniques? Not really. All are things we all know (or at least have heard) but it’s good to see why they work and how they work.Good to have this reminder because change happens through repetition, not ideation.

    Buen libro, muy recomendado

  12. Amazonキツネ

This is not your typical self help book, it’s written by a therapist who shares the tools she actually uses in the therapy room with her clients. Things that actually work – and what doesn’t. For someone who doesn’t have the time or the money to go to therapy, or just wondering how to better understand and live with their emotions, this book is a must read.

  13. Kadri

It’s worth a read! You’ll get lots of useful tips on how to live your life better.
